General Dwivedi's Visit to the Ashram
General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of Army Staff, recently visited the ashram of spiritual leader Jagadguru Swami Rambhadraacharya in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh, where he sought the guru's blessings. During this visit, the spiritual leader urged the army chief to reclaim Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) for India. Jagadguru shared details of his conversation with General Dwivedi, who was at the Shri Tulsi Peeth Chitrakoot Dham on Wednesday.
Spiritual Insights and Requests
While at the ashram, Jagadguru revealed that he imparted the Ram mantra initiation to General Dwivedi, a mantra that Lord Hanuman received from Mata Sita, which led to his victory in Lanka. The army chief also engaged with saints and students at the ashram, emphasizing the army's commitment to national security as well as cultural and spiritual values. Reflecting on the visit, Jagadguru mentioned, 'The Indian Army chief came to me. He received the Ram mantra initiation—the same mantra that Hanuman obtained from Sita and used to conquer Lanka. When it came to discussing 'dakshina' (offering), I stated that I would request something that no guru has asked for before. I said, 'I want PoK.' He accepted my request. We are prepared to give Pakistan a fitting response.'
Operation Sindoor and Leadership
It is noteworthy that General Upendra Dwivedi, along with Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi and Air Force Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, played a crucial role in Operation Sindoor. Previously, the Indian Army had released a booklet for its personnel detailing the operation room from where top officials monitored the campaign against Pakistan. The booklet also featured images of General Dwivedi, Admiral Tripathi, and Marshal Singh.
