Apple is gearing up for the launch of its new product lineup in September 2025. While the company has not officially disclosed any specifics about the iPhone 17 series, numerous leaks have surfaced online, revealing key details. The upcoming series will feature four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Notably, Apple will discontinue the iPhone Plus model in this release.

Design and Display Features of iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air

The standard iPhone 17 will maintain a design similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 16, but will boast a slightly larger 6.3-inch display. In contrast, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to be the slimmest iPhone to date, featuring a 6.6-inch screen. This model will showcase a new camera hub design on the back, characterized by a horizontal bar that enhances its aesthetic appeal.

Both models are anticipated to utilize OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate, addressing previous criticisms regarding the 60Hz refresh rate of earlier models. Additionally, Apple is expected to introduce always-on display support.

Specifications of iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air

The iPhone 17 Air will be powered by the A19 chip, manufactured using an advanced 3nm process. It is projected to come with 12GB of RAM, while the base iPhone 17 may offer either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Furthermore, Apple might enhance the charging capabilities of these devices.

The iPhone 17 is rumored to feature a new 24MP sensor, complemented by a dual-lens setup on the rear, consisting of a 48MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The official launch of these new iPhones is expected between September 11 and 13, 2025, with pricing speculated to start at Rs 88,900 for the iPhone 17 and Rs 99,000 for the iPhone 17 Air.
