Despite interest from clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United, Semenyo has consistently preferred a move to City. It is believed that personal terms have been settled, paving the way for his arrival at the Etihad Stadium.
This signing raises some questions regarding City's already strong options in wide attacking positions. Jérémy Doku has been impressive on the left side this season, while Savinho and Omar Marmoush are also capable of playing in that role.
