The animated short film 'Arlequino and Pierrot' tells a poignant love story between the cheerful Harlequin and the melancholic Pierrot. This film is inspired by the graphic novel of the late Revital Bronstein and symbolizes the creative partnership between India and Israel in a different artistic domain.

Collaboration Between Studios

Produced through a collaboration between Israel's award-winning animation studio, The Hive Studio, and India's Live Pixel Technologies, 'Arlequino and Pierrot' was showcased at the International Festival for Animation, Comics, and Caricature held in Tel Aviv on Thursday evening. The festival runs from August 4 to August 8.

Tragic Loss of Revital Bronstein

Revital, known by her nickname Navy Bird, was tragically shot by terrorists while returning home in October 2024 at the young age of 24. She never had the chance to see her work come to life in animation. Recognized as a young artist in whimsical and imaginative comics and graphic novels, her portfolio includes two graphic novels.

Her Notable Works

The first graphic novel, 'Arlequino and Pierrot,' was published as a webcomic, while the second, 'Still Earth,' was self-published and sold at various conventions and comic book stores.
