Andrew and Tristan Tate's Controversial Meetings Before Arrest
Tate Brothers' Washington Encounter
Influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate were reportedly spotted engaging with individuals associated with former US President Donald Trump's administration in Washington, DC, just days prior to their arrest on fresh charges of rape and sex trafficking in the United States. The siblings, aged 39 and 38, were taken into custody in Miami on Saturday after Bedfordshire Police revealed an additional 38 charges against them, bringing the total to 59 criminal allegations. The Tates have faced serious accusations, including rape and human trafficking, across various nations.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the brothers attended a social event hosted by Paolo Zampolli, a businessman and special envoy for Trump, at his residence in Washington before heading to Ned, a private club popular among Trump administration members. They also visited Capitol Hill, where they met with several lawmakers, including Texas Representative Wesley Hunt. Zampolli has previously been featured on Andrew Tate's podcast.
In a May podcast episode, Tate described Zampolli's insights on high-level networking and the realities of operating at the top tier of society. Recently, Zampolli has been embroiled in a public dispute with his ex-partner, Brazilian model Amanda Ungaro, regarding claims about the introduction of Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. Ungaro accused Zampolli of falsely asserting that he introduced the couple in 1998, claiming instead that Melania met Trump through the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. She also alleged that Melania had worked as an escort for Epstein, which Zampolli vehemently denied, calling her statements a disgrace against the First Lady.
Melania Trump has also refuted any links to Epstein. The New York Times reported that Ungaro was arrested in June 2025 on fraud charges and subsequently deported for overstaying her visa. The publication noted that Zampolli sought assistance from the Trump administration, requesting that Ungaro be detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) amid a custody dispute over their teenage son, a claim Zampolli has denied.
Andrew Tate has previously asserted that he has close connections with the Trump family. Following an assassination attempt on Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign, Tate remarked to reporters, "I'm very close with the Trump family. I know them well," adding, "I look forward to, once I am free, being with Donald Trump in person and reminding him that he's a bulletproof badass."
