Commemoration of a Significant Political Milestone

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has declared June 4 as 'Praja Tirpu Dinam' (People's Mandate Day). This date marks one year since the defeat of the previous YSR Congress Party government and the announcement of the 2024 election results.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP), along with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jana Sena, achieved a remarkable victory by winning 164 out of 175 assembly seats, leaving the YSRCP with only 11 seats.

In a post shared on the social media platform 'X', Naidu stated, 'June 4 is a historic day when the people's revolution ended the oppressive regime of the former YSR Congress Party government, restoring democracy and peace in Andhra Pradesh.'

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to party workers and leaders who tirelessly worked to bring welfare, development, and good governance to the people. He pledged to fulfill the aspirations of the public by implementing welfare programs and accelerating development in the next four years.

He urged citizens to remain united and support coalition efforts, promising progress, peace, and prosperity for future generations of Andhra Pradesh.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan remarked that on June 4, 2024, the public exercised their voting rights to end five years of 'chaotic rule' and break free from feudal chains.

Supporting Naidu's statement, Kalyan shared his views on the one-year anniversary of the NDA's historic victory, emphasizing the importance of public awareness and the preservation of democratic principles, while highlighting the success of all candidates fielded by the Jana Sena Party in the elections.
