Amit Shah's Vision for Post-Political Life

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a significant announcement regarding his retirement plans from politics. Speaking at the 'Sahakar Samvad' event in Ahmedabad, he expressed his intention to dedicate his time to natural farming and delve deeper into Hindu scriptures such as the Vedas and Upanishads after stepping away from public life. Shah described natural farming as a scientific approach that is highly beneficial for both health and the environment.

He stated, "After retiring, I will devote the rest of my life to the Vedas, Upanishads, and natural farming." Shah highlighted that wheat grown with chemical fertilizers often leads to various health issues. He emphasized that natural farming not only keeps the body free from diseases but also enhances agricultural productivity. Shah warned that food items cultivated with chemical fertilizers, such as wheat, can lead to serious health problems including hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and even cancer.


Reflecting on his political journey, Shah mentioned that when he became the Home Minister, many remarked on the significance of his role. However, he felt that being appointed as the Minister of Cooperation was even more impactful, as it focuses on the welfare of farmers, the poor, villages, and livestock. He shared a personal anecdote, noting that since adopting natural methods on his farm, his crop yield has increased by 1.5 times.
