Amit Shah's Spiritual Visit to Meenakshi Temple
On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in rituals at the Meenakshi Temple, where he was warmly welcomed by the temple priests in a traditional manner.
The priests from Madurai Adheenam, led by Sri La Sri Harihar Sri Gyanasambandha Desika Swamigal, presented Shah with a saffron shawl and spiritual texts as gifts.
Accompanied by BJP leaders, including Nainar Nagendran and Union Minister of State L. Murugan, Shah engaged in worship at the temple. In anticipation of his visit, the police implemented stringent security measures.
