Amit Shah's Road Show in Kozhikode

On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah demonstrated the strength of the BJP during a grand road show in Kozhikode, Kerala. The event, held in the Beypore assembly constituency, saw the presence of BJP candidate Advocate K. P. Prakash Babu along with several senior party leaders.

During the road show, a massive crowd of supporters gathered. Addressing the audience, Amit Shah emphasized that the people of Kerala are now seeking a robust alternative and improved governance. He urged the citizens to vote for the BJP-NDA for the state's development and security.

PM Modi Inspires Workers with Cricket Analogy

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a virtual dialogue with BJP booth workers in Kerala on Thursday. He motivated the workers by stating that this time, Kerala is not just choosing a new government but a new system. Drawing a parallel with cricket, he referenced Kerala player Sanju Samson, encouraging workers to put in their utmost effort on voting day, just as Samson does in crucial matches.

Sharp Critique of Congress and Left Parties

PM Modi targeted the UDF and LDF, asserting that the recent results in Thiruvananthapuram have shattered the long-held belief that power would only shift between these two alliances. He claimed that the public is now weary of the 'loot' by both parties, and a strong wave in favor of the BJP-NDA is emerging this time.

Voting Scheduled for April 9

Voting for Kerala's 140 assembly seats is set for April 9, 2026. Historically, the political landscape of the state has seen power alternating between the leftist coalition and the Congress-led alliance. However, in 2021, the LDF, under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, broke this long-standing tradition by winning for the second consecutive time. Now, the BJP is making every effort to transform this binary contest into a triangular one.
