Amit Shah Highlights India's Military Strength at World Book Fair
Amit Shah's Remarks on Operation Sindoor
On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized that 'Operation Sindoor' exemplifies India's indomitable military strength, bolstered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strong political will and the decisive strike capability of the armed forces.
These comments were made during the World Book Fair held at Bharat Mandapam. Shah toured the 'Vande Mataram Pavilion' and the 'Operation Sindoor Pavilion,' and also visited a special exhibition dedicated to India's first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
He noted that the song 'Vande Mataram,' from the literary work Anand Math by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, inspired millions of Indians to initiate the freedom struggle and end British rule. Shah encouraged the public to attend the fair and distributed copies of Anand Math to children.
On social media, Shah stated, 'I joined fellow book lovers at the New Delhi World Book Fair. Books are the best medium for acquiring knowledge, and one should continue reading regardless of age. The habit of reading is rapidly declining, and I believe that books, whether digital or printed, are the best way to gain knowledge.'
The Home Minister also paid tribute to the national song, first published in the literary magazine Bangadarshan on November 7, 1875. According to a statement released by the government, Shah remarked that 'Operation Sindoor' is a testament to India's military might, driven by Prime Minister Modi's unwavering political resolve, the decisive strike capability of the armed forces, and precise intelligence. He expressed that the 'Operation Sindoor Pavilion' aims to inspire the younger generation towards patriotism and commitment to the nation.
