Amit Shah's Strong Remarks Against Mamata Banerjee

On Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a fierce critique of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, asserting that her time in power is over. He emphasized that the BJP will form the next government following the assembly elections. During his final rally of the day in Chandipur, West Medinipur, Shah stated, 'This is the last rally before the first phase of the elections. I want to tell Didi from Chandipur, 'Tata, bye-bye. Your time is up! You have troubled the people of Bengal too much. It is now time for you to leave and for the BJP to take over.' He further claimed that the BJP's victory is assured after the vote counting. Shah warned infiltrators, saying, 'The counting of votes will take place on the 4th, and by the 5th, the BJP government will be in place... so get ready to return to Bangladesh quickly.'

Promises of Development and Warnings to Opponents

Shah also pledged to initiate development projects in the region, announcing the establishment of a significant research center. He noted that the area around Chandipur is known for betel cultivation, and thus, the government will set up a large betel research center there. Additionally, he issued a stern warning to his political rivals, stating, 'I am also telling Mamata's goons not to step out of their homes on the 23rd... the BJP government is coming on the 5th. We will find them even from the depths and send them behind bars.' He reiterated the BJP's stance on national security and infiltration, claiming that the party has liberated the country from Naxalism and will work to rid the nation of infiltrators. 'From the Bay of Bengal to the Indian Ocean, we will leave no space for infiltrators,' he declared.

Historical Context of Security Operations

Reflecting on past military and security operations, Shah remarked, 'The Congress, Communists, and Mamata were against the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. However, in 2019, PM Modi abolished it. When Congress was in power with Mamata's support, they fed terrorists biryani. When terrorists attacked Uri, a surgical strike was conducted. After the Pulwama attack, an airstrike was executed. When there was an attack in Pahalgam, the Modi government eliminated terrorists in their own homes through 'Operation Sindoor.'
