A Sharp Critique of Congress and DMK

During a road show in Erode, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a strong attack on the Congress and DMK parties. He accused them of betraying the women of the nation by voting against the Women's Reservation Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. Shah described this act not merely as political opposition but as a deliberate conspiracy to exclude women from their rights and decision-making processes. He assured that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi would never allow this conspiracy to succeed.

Commitment to Protect Tamil Nadu's Interests

Addressing the issues of delimitation and census, Shah claimed that Congress and DMK were attempting to reduce Tamil Nadu's Lok Sabha seats based on the 2026 census. He reassured the people of Tamil Nadu that the central government would fully safeguard the state's interests and thwart any attempts to cut down the number of seats.

Criticism of DMK's Dynastic Politics

At the rally, Shah launched a fierce critique against the DMK, accusing it of dynastic politics. He pointed out the lineage from M. Karunanidhi to M.K. Stalin and now Udhayanidhi Stalin, stating that this family-centric politics is detrimental to the state's development. Additionally, he raised concerns about corruption and the deteriorating law and order situation under the DMK government. Shah asserted that if an AIADMK-BJP coalition government were to form, it would put an end to corrupt governance and bring about administrative reforms.

Claiming the Formation of an NDA Government

Amit Shah emphasized the significance of the upcoming assembly elections on April 23 for the state. He expressed confidence that an NDA government would be formed under the leadership of Palaniswami. He urged the public to vote in large numbers for BJP candidate Krithika Shivakumar from the Modakurichi seat. Observing the massive crowd during the road show, Shah expressed his happiness on social media, noting the growing inclination of the people of Tamil Nadu towards the BJP.
