Shah remarked that while the BJP does not govern in several states, such behavior is not observed there. He noted that Prime Minister inaugurates the Vande Bharat initiative, yet Mamata does not attend the events. He accused her of manipulating departmental rules and engaging in arbitrary appointments of the DGP. Even after retirement, officials are appointed as advisors, effectively acting as DGPs. Shah asserted that Mamata Banerjee's administration has fostered a syndicate culture and engaged in corruption, allowing only her 'bhai-po' (nephew) to profit.
He further assured the citizens of West Bengal that all existing state government schemes would continue even after the BJP forms a government. The promises made by the BJP will be implemented at the grassroots level. Addressing the issue of illegal immigration, Amit Shah provided assurances to the Matua community, stating that they need not fear. He emphasized that the BJP guarantees that persecuted refugees arriving in Bengal are Indian citizens and that no harm will come to them, not even from Mamata Banerjee.
