Following this, former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu made a statement on social media, suggesting that 'an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.' This comment sparked outrage among fans, leading to significant criticism directed at him. Subsequently, Rayudu deleted the post and has since been attempting to clarify his remarks.
