Independent blogger Jennifer Zeng has made serious allegations that China engaged in espionage during US President Donald Trump's visit to Beijing. She claims that disguised personnel were used to monitor foreign dignitaries, including a Chinese military officer who was reportedly stationed directly behind Elon Musk at a state banquet. Zeng shared images that circulated on Chinese social media to support her claims.
In a series of posts on X, Zeng asserted that a server positioned behind Musk at the banquet is a decorated active-duty officer of the Chinese military. She also posted a photo of two servers from a state banquet honoring Trump, alleging that images of these women in military attire were widely shared on Chinese social platforms.

In a subsequent post, Zeng identified a waitress behind Musk as Major Cheng Cheng, an elite battalion commander who allegedly contributed to the operational manuals for China's military ceremonies. She even speculated that Cheng might have been armed, stating, "I think Cheng Cheng had a gun or something under her red dress."

Zeng's History of Espionage Allegations
This is not the first instance where Jennifer Zeng has accused Beijing of espionage. Earlier in 2023, she suggested that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) might have been involved in the assassination of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada, alleging that the motive was to frame India and create discord between New Delhi and its Western allies.
Donald Trump recently concluded his discussions with Xi Jinping during his state visit to Beijing. The Chinese government emphasized that Taiwan remains the most critical issue in China-US relations during this summit. Other topics included trade relations and the ongoing conflict involving the US and Israel in Iran, which were anticipated to dominate the discussions. Trump also mentioned the possibility of a three-way nuclear agreement involving the US, Russia, and China.
