Support for the Delimitation Bill
The All India MSME Federation has expressed its approval of the delimitation bill recently introduced by the central government, extending heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Modi and his entire team for their dedication to the welfare of the nation’s 1.4 billion citizens.
Significant Legislative Achievements
In the current global context, the leadership of the Modi government is shining, instilling pride among citizens. Over the past 11 years, the central government has enacted several crucial bills aimed at fostering social, economic, and political transformation in the country. Key legislations include the Triple Talaq Bill, Article 370 abrogation, the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAA), the Waqf Amendment Bill for 2024-25, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act (Women's Reservation Bill), amendments to the UAPA, and the Delimitation Bill (2026). Additionally, the Consumer Protection Bill, 2019 has been implemented to safeguard consumer interests and address grievances in the era of new technologies like e-commerce.
Welfare Schemes for National Development
The central government has also launched numerous welfare schemes, notably 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao', Skill India for the youth, Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY), the Prime Minister's Jan Suraksha Scheme, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana (PMAY), PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Swanidhi Yojana, and PM Vishwakarma Yojana, which have accelerated the nation’s development efforts.
Role of Parliament Members in Addressing Public Issues
Members of Parliament play a crucial role in implementing various schemes aimed at public welfare. With the increasing number of public issues, it has become essential for MPs to engage with their constituents. Given the rise in family-related crimes, proactive counseling by MPs and their teams could significantly reduce such incidents and enhance public welfare initiatives. To facilitate this, providing each MP with two retired IAS or IPS officers, or skilled officials of their choice, could streamline clerical and administrative tasks, allowing them to focus more on rural outreach and critical issues.
Emphasis on Digital and Skill Development
The current government prioritizes 'Digital India' and 'Skill India', enabling around 400 million youth in the country to advance significantly in various sectors, from general employment to becoming tech-savvy. If the government acts as a bridge between MPs and these youth, it could lead to more result-oriented outcomes. The rapid advancement of technology has drastically improved communication and transportation efficiency, saving considerable time compared to previous methods.
The Role of Media in Society
Media plays a vital role in maintaining law and order in the country. Journalists have risked their lives to present the truth during communal riots, natural disasters, and crises, often at the cost of their own safety. Whether during the COVID-19 pandemic or military tensions at the borders, media professionals have served the nation with unwavering commitment.
Need for Constructive Opposition
When the ruling party presents initiatives aimed at alleviating public distress, opposition parties often seek ways to protest, sometimes leading to walkouts from Parliament. This behavior undermines the sanctity of the parliamentary process. If the term 'opposition' were to be redefined as 'competitor party', it could foster a more constructive atmosphere, positively impacting national development.
Promoting Hindi as the National Language
While Hindi has been recognized as the official language, discussions in the Lok Sabha often occur in both Hindi and English. To bridge communication gaps, prioritizing the use of Hindi across all states is essential. Each country has a national language that its citizens prioritize; adopting Hindi as the primary language in our country would enhance communication and yield positive results in various sectors.
Support for Increased Parliamentary Seats
Currently, there are 543 members in the Lok Sabha. We fully support the proposal to increase the number of seats to 850, including 815 for states and 35 for Union Territories. Utilizing technology in this process will undoubtedly reduce the workload on the government.
Conclusion
The All India MSME Federation welcomes the ongoing efforts of the central government aimed at public welfare and extends its best wishes for continued success.
Vande Mataram, Bharat Mata Ki Jai!
