According to police reports, four boys have been taken into custody in connection with the case.

Krisna Murari Prasad, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) for Law and Order-1 in Patna, informed reporters, "We received information on Tuesday night regarding the sexual assault of a minor girl by her friends in the Kotwali area. The police arrived at the scene and took the victim for a medical examination."

Based on the details provided by the victim and her family, the police have registered a case against the accused. The SDPO added, "The police have detained four minor boys in relation to the incident, and an investigation is currently underway."
