Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party, is gearing up for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections scheduled for 2027. During a press conference at the party headquarters on Wednesday, he made an intriguing revelation regarding the elections. He mentioned a powerful astrologer and sage, stating that whatever they predict will come to pass.
With a smile, Akhilesh shared that he has a knowledgeable astrologer in contact. He referred to this astrologer as an AI sage who has spoken about the Kedarnath Temple. Akhilesh further explained that this astrologer can read minds. He revealed that the astrologer told him, 'Whatever you write, I will fulfill it.' Akhilesh noted that he wrote down just two things: to form a Samajwadi government and to lead Uttar Pradesh towards prosperity. The astrologer accurately predicted both without any prior knowledge. Reflecting on this, Akhilesh stated, 'Just think, I wrote only two things, and he got them right. Whatever the astrologer says, we will follow.'
In a light-hearted manner, Akhilesh added that they would adhere to whatever the astrologer advises. If he suggests growing long hair, they will do so; if he says to cut it, they will comply. He humorously mentioned that if the astrologer instructs them to step out with the right foot first, they will do that too. When asked about the Samajwadi Party's stance on such beliefs, Akhilesh responded, 'We are new socialists.' He firmly asserted that, similar to 2012, the Samajwadi Party will form the government in 2027.
Fundraising Campaign for Kedarnath Temple
During the press conference, Akhilesh Yadav specifically highlighted the Kedarnath Temple. He announced that, similar to the Ram Temple, letters would be sent to BJP leaders and Sanatan Dharma followers to solicit donations for the Kedarnath Temple. Emphasizing that God belongs to everyone, Akhilesh mentioned Kedarnath, Hanuman, and the Shiva Shakti line. He hinted that the party would incorporate spiritual and religious dimensions into its electoral strategy. Questions were raised regarding a statement made by the party's national general secretary, Kiranmaya Nanda, who claimed that corruption led to Mamata's electoral defeat.

In response, Akhilesh Yadav advised party leaders and workers to refrain from speaking off the record to the media. However, he humorously remarked that no one would heed his advice. He acknowledged that sometimes he also shares news with those who provide him with information.
