A Call for Voter Awareness

Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, urged all voters and 'PDA sentinels' to remain alert on Thursday. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that no schemes succeed in disenfranchising voters from backward, Dalit, and minority communities.

In a post on 'X', Yadav expressed concern that despite the efforts of 'PDA sentinels', millions of votes from these communities have already been removed.

He reiterated, "I appeal once again to every voter and each 'PDA sentinel' to thwart any conspiracy aimed at cutting the votes of the PDA community."

The former Chief Minister stressed the need for 'PDA sentinels' to conduct thorough checks at every polling booth, rallying everyone with the motto of ensuring that not a single vote is lost.

Yadav reminded voters of the significance of their names on the electoral rolls, warning that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) might introduce laws that could render their names absent from official documents, leading to demands for proof of citizenship.

He accused the BJP government of potentially enacting legislation that could strip individuals of their rights, wealth, and property.

Yadav concluded by stating, "If the BJP can manipulate elections to run unopposed, they will go to any lengths to remove names from the voter list, as their hidden agenda is to win elections, engage in corruption, and seize control over water, forests, and land." He urged voters to stay vigilant and actively participate in the electoral process.
