Akhilesh Yadav Questions RBI's Tender Amidst Allegations of Corruption
Akhilesh Yadav's Concerns Over RBI Tender
The national president of the Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, expressed his views on a tender issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday. Through a post on the social media platform 'X', he raised questions regarding the policies of the BJP government, wondering if the privatization of currency is now on the agenda under the corrupt regime of the BJP.
Yadav made serious allegations against the government, stating that the public never anticipated that the model of corruption would sink to such depths. He emphasized that if the country's currency cannot be self-reliant, how can one claim that the economy and the nation are self-sufficient? He further questioned whether the government will now operate entirely on outsourcing.
Expressing skepticism about the tender process, Akhilesh Yadav remarked that issuing a small and frugal tender for such a crucial and sensitive task could indicate ill intentions. He accused the government of merely going through the motions, suggesting that arrangements may have already been made. According to him, the BJP government appears to be functioning more like a partnership with profiteers rather than serving the public interest.
It is noteworthy that the tender shared by the SP president was issued by the Reserve Bank of India Note Printing Private Limited.
