Akhilesh Yadav Critiques BJP Amid LPG Shortage Concerns

Akhilesh Yadav's Strong Criticism of BJP

The leader of the Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav, launched a fierce critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday, attributing the recent LPG shortages to the ongoing crisis in West Asia. He claimed that the central government's policies have burdened citizens, particularly marginalized groups such as the backward classes, Dalits, and minorities, pushing them into hardship. During a press conference, Yadav stated that the BJP has offered nothing but long queues to the public. He emphasized that every decision made by the party results in people standing in line, but this time, the public is determined to defeat them by standing together. He noted that the BJP is now fearful of public displays of affection.

Concerns Over LPG and Social Issues

Yadav further remarked that even basic snacks like kachoris and samosas can no longer rely on gas, dubbing LPG as 'missing gas.' He criticized the ruling party's understanding of social issues, questioning how those who do not even know the full form of AI can comprehend the struggles of the PDA (People's Democratic Alliance). He expressed doubt about their ability to understand the pain and humiliation faced by these communities, stating that as suffering increases, so will the PDA's presence.

PDA Unity and Election Strategies

The Samajwadi Party leader mentioned that his party is working to unite people around PDA issues. He asserted that to honor the PDA community, they are mobilizing support among them. Criticizing the BJP's electoral strategies, he accused them of misusing resources, claiming they might be the first political party in the world to spend money to tarnish someone's image. He pointed out that BJP members are spending billions to damage reputations while distributing incentives to gain public favor. He warned that once these incentives cease, public praise will also diminish.

Welfare Initiatives and Women's Rights

The Samajwadi Party chief presented an extensive list of welfare measures, reiterating the party's stance on women's reservation and caste-based rights. Yadav stated that this initiative is aimed at half the population. He announced that wherever the Samajwadi pension scheme is implemented, laptops will be distributed, along with a plan to provide ₹40,000 to poor families as a symbol of respect. The 'Samman Samriddhi Yojana' and 'Stree Samman Yojana' will be launched during the tenure of the Samajwadi government.
