Akhilesh Yadav's Accusations Against UP Government

On Saturday, Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, accused the Uttar Pradesh government of neglecting the worsening conditions at King George's Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow. He criticized Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak for being oblivious to the realities on the ground and urged the Chief Minister to witness the dire state of healthcare facilities in the capital.

In a post on X, Yadav targeted both the Chief Minister and Pathak, alleging that they are engaged in misleading public relations while ignoring pressing issues. He expressed that if the star campaigner and the Chief Minister have returned from their election tours, they should observe the unfortunate situation at the state's most prestigious hospital and the plight of the citizens.

Yadav shared a video report highlighting KGMU's poor condition and directly appealed to the Chief Minister, requesting restraint in his criticism. He stated, 'My humble request to the Chief Minister: please do not take any harsh action against this brave complainant using your 'dislike' policy, nor should you send notices to any 'five or seven' state presidents.' He clarified that the video is authentic and refuted any claims of digital manipulation, asserting that it was not created by AI.

On Friday, Yadav also condemned Chief Minister Adityanath's comments about the opposition, accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of frequently changing its stance on significant issues. Speaking to reporters, he claimed that the BJP has no intention of implementing women's reservation and has been gathering data for years to delay the Women's Reservation Bill.
