Ajit Doval Engages with Saudi Leaders: A Step Towards Strengthening Bilateral Ties
Strengthening Ties in Riyadh
Riyadh: Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor of India, has engaged in discussions with high-ranking officials in Saudi Arabia, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations, regional dynamics, and other shared interests.
Upon his arrival in Riyadh on Sunday, Doval was welcomed at the airport by Suhel Khan, India's Ambassador, alongside Saud Al-Sati, the Deputy Minister for Political Affairs of Saudi Arabia.
Doval's agenda included meetings with key figures such as Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman, and National Security Advisor Musaed Al-Aiban.
The discussions revolved around strengthening bilateral ties, addressing regional issues, and exploring other topics of mutual concern, as highlighted by the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia on social media.
This visit occurs in the context of anticipated second-round negotiations between the US and Iran, scheduled to take place in Pakistan this week, aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
The initial talks held in Pakistan on April 11 and 12 did not yield any agreements.
