Introduction to 'Ace Juniors'

Ajit Agarkar, a former Indian cricketer and current chief selector, along with his wife Fatema Agarkar, has introduced 'Ace Juniors', a pioneering educational initiative. The launch event was graced by notable figures from various sectors, including former cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Sanjay Manjrekar, Parthiv Patel, and actress Neha Dhupia.

Agarkar's Excitement

During the event, Agarkar expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled; this day is monumental for us. It has always been a dream to establish this initiative, and today marks a significant milestone."

A New Vision for Pre-School Learning

Fatema Agarkar elaborated on their vision for 'Ace Juniors', describing it as a unique pre-school concept that emphasizes both physical and mental health, alongside sports. The initiative aims to inspire children to engage in more playtime.

She emphasized the importance of allowing children to learn at their own pace, stating, "Our goal is to help children discover their voices. It's essential for teachers and parents to recognize the significance of sports and health in education. Learning should be enjoyable, and children should feel free to express themselves through play, dance, and honest conversations."

Fatema added, "This initiative celebrates sports and health, focusing on the joy of learning rather than just achievements."

Promoting Sports Participation

While Agarkar remained discreet about his specific role in the initiative, he highlighted the importance of sports in children's lives. He urged parents to encourage their children to participate in various sports, stating, "It's crucial to support kids in all sports, not just one or two."

He concluded by noting, "Today, there are ample opportunities for parents to facilitate this, which is ultimately our goal."
