Ajaz Khan's 'House Arrest' Show Removed Amid Controversy: What Happened?

Controversy Surrounds 'House Arrest'

Mumbai: The streaming platform Ullu has decided to remove actor Ajaz Khan's reality series 'House Arrest' following a growing backlash regarding its explicit content.

When searching for 'House Arrest' on the Ullu App, which is often labeled as an adult entertainment platform, no results were found on Friday.

The controversy erupted after a brief video from the show went viral, showing Khan pressuring female contestants to engage in intimate and inappropriate behaviors on camera. The dialogue in the clip raised concerns, as it included probing and personal inquiries that made some participants visibly uncomfortable.

In response to the uproar, the National Commission for Women (NCW) summoned Ullu App's CEO Vibhu Agarwal and Khan, who is also known for his participation in 'Bigg Boss'. The NCW took notice of the situation and expressed strong disapproval of the show's content.

Both individuals have been requested to appear before the commission on May 9.
