Air India Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Ulaanbaatar
In a recent statement, an airline reported that an Air India flight traveling from San Francisco to Delhi was diverted to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on Sunday due to a suspected technical issue detected by the crew while in the air. The flight, designated AI174, landed safely in Ulaanbaatar after a stop in Kolkata, and technical inspections are currently underway.
A spokesperson for Air India mentioned that they are collaborating with their team to assist all passengers and are working diligently to ensure everyone reaches their destination as soon as possible. They expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to travelers due to this unexpected situation, emphasizing that the safety of passengers and crew is their top priority.
IndiGo Flight Diverted Due to Security Threat
IndiGo Airlines announced that a flight from Jeddah to Hyderabad was redirected to Mumbai on Saturday following a security threat. According to the airline's spokesperson, flight 6E 68, scheduled to depart from Jeddah to Hyderabad on November 1, 2025, was diverted to Mumbai due to the reported security concern.
The spokesperson added that, in accordance with established protocols, they promptly informed the relevant authorities and fully cooperated with necessary security checks before granting approval for the aircraft's further operations. The airline also stated that all passengers were provided refreshments and kept informed throughout the inspection process. The safety of customers, crew, and the aircraft remains their highest priority.
