Flight Cancellation at Gannavaram Airport
An Air India flight bound for Visakhapatnam was canceled on Thursday at Gannavaram Airport, located near Vijayawada, due to technical difficulties, as reported by an official.
Among the affected passengers were former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Andhra Pradesh's Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu, and senior YSRCP leader B. Satyanarayana, all of whom had to alter their travel plans.
Laxmikant Reddy, the director of Vijayawada Airport, informed a news agency that the flight was grounded due to an engine malfunction. According to Reddy, the technical issue arose around 8:30 PM on Thursday night.
