Flight Cancellations Announced by Air India

On Friday, Air India announced the cancellation of several international and domestic flights due to increased maintenance requirements and operational considerations. A total of eight flights have been affected. This decision follows the airline's earlier notice regarding a temporary reduction in services for its Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft, which will be in effect from June 21, 2025, until at least July 15, 2025.


The airline's official statement indicated that the following flights have been cancelled: AI906 from Dubai to Chennai, AI308 from Delhi to Melbourne, AI309 from Melbourne to Delhi, AI2204 from Dubai to Hyderabad, and domestic flights AI874 from Pune to Delhi, AI456 from Ahmedabad to Delhi, AI2872 from Hyderabad to Mumbai, and AI571 from Chennai to Mumbai.

Reason for Flight Reductions
