Air India Cancels Lucknow-Mumbai Flight Due to Operational Issues

On Wednesday, Air India announced the cancellation of its Lucknow to Mumbai flight scheduled for June 17, citing 'operational reasons' and changes in flight routes.

A spokesperson for the airline indicated that alternative arrangements are being made to transport passengers to Lucknow as quickly as possible.

The flight number AI2491, which was supposed to operate from Mumbai to Lucknow on June 17, has been canceled due to these operational issues.

The airline explained that heavy rainfall in Delhi led to changes in flight paths, prompting the decision to cancel the flight.

Additionally, the alterations in flight routes have affected the timely arrival of crew members for other flights.

Air India noted that due to weather-related delays and disruptions, it was not possible to arrange for a replacement crew immediately.

To alleviate the inconvenience faced by affected passengers, the airline has provided hotel accommodations.

Passengers have also been offered a full refund for the canceled flight or the option to book another flight.
