AIPA Shines at WPC Asia Pickleball Open 2026 with Multiple Medals
AIPA Achieves Success at the Tournament
The All India Pickleball Association (AIPA) showcased an outstanding performance at the WPC Asia Pickleball Open 2026, held from March 11 to 16 at The Mall Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The players secured 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal during this prestigious international event.
In the Men's Doubles 19+ Open category, the duo of Mayur Patil and Vanshik Kapadia emerged victorious, clinching the Gold Medal with a remarkable display of skill.
Aalyka Ebrahim's Remarkable Achievements
Aalyka Ebrahim was among the standout athletes, partnering with Agnimitra Bhavatosh Bhattacharya to win another Gold Medal in the Women's Doubles 19+ Open. Additionally, she earned a Silver Medal in the Mixed Doubles Advanced Plus alongside Avinash Kumar and finished 4th in both Women's Singles 19+ Open and Advanced Plus, demonstrating her versatility across various events.
Additional Medals for Indian Competitors
In the Men's Singles category, Sonu Kumar Vishwakarma secured the Silver Medal as the Runner-up, while Avinash Kumar took home the Bronze Medal for finishing in 3rd place. Gaurav Rane also performed admirably, finishing 4th.

Other significant results included Gaurav Rane and Tejas Mahajan finishing 4th in Men's Doubles 19+ Open, and Anuja Maheshwari with Vrushali Thakare also achieving 4th place in Women's Doubles 19+ Open. A diverse group of AIPA players participated in both singles and doubles events, representing various states including Jharkhand, Haryana, Bihar, and Maharashtra.
In the doubles categories, AIPA athletes formed multiple team combinations, such as Kunal Bare with Aniket Durgawali, Ritam Chawla with Sonu Kumar Vishwakarma, and many others.
