AIFF U15 Women’s Youth League to Commence in October 2026

Inaugural AIFF U15 Women’s Youth League Set to Begin

The first edition of the AIFF U15 Women’s Youth League is scheduled to start on October 15, 2026, at the Sporting Planet Sports Complex located in Belagavi, Karnataka. This tournament will feature 16 teams from various regions of the country, organized into four groups of four teams each. The leading two teams from every group will advance to the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals, with the final match taking place on October 31, as stated in a press release from AIFF Media.

The tournament will include the following 16 teams: SESA Football Academy, HOPS FC, Roots FC, Krida Prabodhini Pune, Juba Sangha FC, Sethu FC, PFC Kerala, Project Mahadeva FC, MGM Ambush Club, DKR Football Academy, SAG Football Academy, Community FC India, Portais Sporting Club, RKM Football Academy, Mumbai Knights FC, and the host team, Belgaum United Football Academy.

Significance of the AIFF U15 Women’s Youth League

The launch of the AIFF U15 Women’s Youth League follows the introduction of the AIFF U17 Women’s Youth League earlier this year in July. This new competition at the U15 level represents a significant advancement in expanding the national competition framework for women's youth football in India.
