AIFF Executive Committee Meeting Highlights

During a recent meeting at the Football House, the Executive Committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) put forward a proposal to create Independent Judicial Committees. This initiative aligns with the Constitution that has received approval from the Supreme Court of India. The AIFF shared this proposal through its social media platforms.

Details of Proposed Committee Members

The Election Committee is set to be led by former Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora, with members including former Delhi DGP Vivek Gogia and ex-CBI officer Surinder Singh Gurm.


The Ethics and Dispute Resolution Committee will be chaired by former DGP Ranjit Kumar Pachnanda, with Justice Ashok Tripathi (retd) serving as Deputy Chairperson.


Justice Vineet Saran (retd) is proposed to lead the Disciplinary Committee, while Justice Raghavendra Kumar (retd) is suggested as the Deputy Chairperson.


Justice Ravindra Singh (retd) is slated to chair the Players' Status Committee.


Lastly, the Appeal Committee will be headed by Justice Hemant Gupta (retd) as Chairperson, with Justice KS Ahluwalia (retd) as Deputy Chairperson.
