Updated Passing Criteria

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has updated the passing criteria for AIBE 19:

  • Seven questions were eliminated from the original exam, adjusting the total marks to 93 instead of 100.
  • Passing Marks for General/OBC: 45% (i.e., 42 marks out of 93).
  • Passing Marks for SC/ST/PWD Candidates: 40% (i.e., 37 marks out of 93).


Reason for Changes

After the final answer key was published on March 6, 2025, candidates raised concerns about specific questions. The BCI addressed these issues and subsequently removed seven questions from the assessment. Additionally, three answers were modified, resulting in the final evaluation based on 93 marks instead of 100.
