Vice President Emphasizes the Importance of AI

On Tuesday, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan stated that artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a concept of the future but a reality we are currently experiencing. He expressed that there is no need to be pessimistic about new technologies.


While addressing the AI Development Conference organized in collaboration with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), he noted that the initial resistance to computers ultimately led to transformative changes in the world.


According to a statement, he highlighted that every technological advancement carries both positive and negative aspects, and it is our responsibility to utilize technology in constructive and beneficial ways.


In his speech, the Vice President reiterated that AI is not merely a futuristic idea but a current reality. He pointed out its impact across various sectors, including healthcare, climate modeling, governance, education, finance, and national security, reshaping societal progress and the way individuals live and work.
