AGP Delegation's Meeting with Union Home Minister


Guwahati, July 25: A delegation from the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), led by its president and State Cabinet Minister Atul Bora, met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Thursday. The meeting also included BJP national president and Union Minister JP Nadda.


The AGP team comprised working president and State Minister Keshab Mahanta, AGP general secretary and newly-elected Rajya Sabha MP Birendra Prasad Baishya, along with senior AGP leader and Lok Sabha MP Phani Bhusan Choudhury.


During their discussion, Atul Bora expressed gratitude to the Union Home Minister for his ongoing support in steering Assam towards peace and development.


“We conveyed our sincere appreciation to Amit Shah for his steadfast support and visionary leadership, which are instrumental in guiding Assam towards enduring peace and rapid progress,” Bora remarked.


He noted that Assam has experienced significant growth under the NDA Government, and the AGP, as a committed ally of the BJP-led NDA, is dedicated to this trajectory of stability and advancement.


Bora further emphasized that the BJP-AGP partnership will persist in working collaboratively to ensure inclusive development and a promising future for all residents of the State.
