Afghanistan's Leadership and Schedule

Hashmatullah Shahidi, the batter, has been appointed as the captain of Afghanistan's cricket team for the upcoming one-off Test and three-match ODI series against India, commencing on June 6.


The Test match is set to take place in Mullanpur starting June 6, followed by the ODI series which kicks off on June 14 in Dharamsala. The subsequent ODIs are scheduled for June 17 in Lucknow and June 20 in Chennai.


Core Players Retained for ODIs

The ODI squad maintains its key players, including Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Rahmat Shah, Ibrahim Zadran, Rashid Khan, Azmatullah Omarzai, and the experienced Mohammed Nabi. Notably, Nabi, Rashid, and Ibrahim will not participate in the Test match.
