Adani Group Launches Innovative Work-Study Diploma Program for Students
Introduction of Karma Shiksha
Ahmedabad, Aug 29: Adani Skills & Education (ASE), the skill development division of the Adani Group, has unveiled a new initiative called Karma Shiksha. This work-study diploma program is launched under the auspices of the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), part of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
Karma Shiksha aims to empower students who have completed Class 10 and 12 across all streams, as well as ITI graduates from various regions of India, by providing them with industry-integrated education that prepares them for the job market.
"With Karma Shiksha, we are making a significant move to offer not just education but also practical skills that create opportunities," stated Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group.
He further emphasized, "This initiative reflects our philosophy of Hum Karke Dikhate Hai -- transforming intent into action and vision into reality, while empowering a new generation to contribute meaningfully to the development of a Viksit Bharat."
Program Details
The two-year diploma focuses on Ports Management and Logistics Management, providing students with exposure to multiple sectors through integrated learning experiences.
It merges theoretical classroom instruction with practical industry experience across key sectors of the Adani Group, including ports, power, solar manufacturing, green energy, and logistics.
Student selection for the program will be merit-based, conducted at a national level across India.
Additionally, the program offers a competitive stipend to assist students financially and facilitates pathways for further education, including lateral entry into degree programs.
