Adani Ahmedabad Marathon Celebrates 10th Edition with Registrations Open

Registration Opens for the 10th Ahmedabad Marathon

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Adani Sportsline has announced that registrations are now open for the 10th edition of the Ahmedabad Marathon, scheduled for November 29. This year's theme, #Run4OurSoldiers, honors the bravery and sacrifices made by India's Armed Forces, while fostering a sense of community and fitness among participants.

Growth and Recognition of the Marathon

In its decade-long journey, the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon has evolved into one of India's premier road-running events, drawing elite athletes, casual runners, fitness lovers, and families nationwide. It has transcended being just a race, transforming into a community initiative that promotes healthier living and unites individuals with a common goal. The last marathon attracted over 24,000 participants, solidifying its status as a top-tier road race in India.

Since 2022, the marathon has been included in the Global Marathon Event List by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), with all race routes certified by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). The upcoming 10th edition will commence at the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park, guiding runners along the picturesque Sabarmati Riverfront and past some of Ahmedabad's iconic landmarks.

The Ahmedabad Marathon has grown to symbolize more than just a sporting event. Through the #Run4OurSoldiers initiative, it provides participants with a platform to pay tribute to the bravery, commitment, and sacrifices of those who serve the nation.

Reflecting on this landmark 10th edition, Sanjay Adesara, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Adani Sportsline, stated, "The 10th edition of the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon signifies a crucial milestone in our mission to foster a robust running culture in Gujarat. Launching registrations on Kargil Vijay Diwas adds special significance to this edition.
