Government Land Being Cleared of Encroachments

The demolition efforts are intensifying in DDU Nagar (Mughal Sarai), where the illegal section of the mosque is being removed under administrative orders. It has been revealed that portions of the mosque encroach upon land belonging to the Public Works Department (PWD) and the railway.

Ten-Day Ultimatum Issued

SDM Anupam Mishra stated that a ten-day ultimatum had been issued for the removal of the illegal structure. He emphasized that the encroachment must be completely cleared within the specified timeframe. The administration reiterated its stance against any form of encroachment on government land.

Local Residents Taking Action

According to local residents, this mosque has been around for many decades. However, during road widening and land surveys, it was discovered that part of it occupies government land. Consequently, the administration decided to take action against the encroachment. To avoid strict administrative measures, locals are voluntarily removing the construction.
