Four Pilgrims Injured in Collision

On Wednesday morning, a collision between a car and a truck near Muvattupuzha resulted in injuries to four pilgrims who were returning from Sabarimala, according to police reports.


An officer from the Muvattupuzha police station stated that two of the injured individuals are in critical condition. All the pilgrims are from outside Kerala, while a fifth person traveling with them escaped unharmed.


The incident occurred around 6 AM as the pilgrims were making their way back from the temple. Some reports suggested that one of the injured may have died, but police have not confirmed this information.


The officer also mentioned that the accident caused significant traffic disruptions on the major MC Road in the state. Due to the traffic jam, a crane needed to remove the truck has been unable to reach the scene.
