On Wednesday, a tempo traveller carrying pilgrims was involved in an accident in Bilaspur district, resulting in injuries to 15 individuals. The group was returning from the Naina Devi Temple after their prayers.


Initial reports indicate that the vehicle, which was transporting devotees from Delhi, encountered the accident near Kola Wala Toba, close to Santina Yatri Niwas. The specific reasons behind the incident are still being investigated.


Swift Action by Locals


Local residents were quick to respond, beginning rescue operations even before official help arrived. Shortly thereafter, a police team led by Harnam Singh, the in-charge of Kot police station, arrived to manage the situation and oversee the evacuation efforts.


The injured individuals were swiftly transported to a nearby medical facility using ambulances and private vehicles. Medical staff are currently providing care, and most of the victims are under observation.
