Bribery Case in Ajmer

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) apprehended an assistant manager of the Gram Seva Cooperative Society in Ajmer on Saturday while he was accepting a bribe of ₹30,000. Officials confirmed the arrest on the same day.


According to the authorities, the assistant manager, Parmeshwar Kumar Prajapat, was taken into custody at the Gram Seva Cooperative Society Limited in Dhathol, Ajmer. The bureau received a complaint indicating that the accused was soliciting a bribe in exchange for approving compensation under the Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme.


In response to the complaint, the ACB set up a sting operation and successfully caught the assistant manager red-handed while he was accepting the bribe. An investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
