"Criticism is part of a cricketer's life. The key is to listen, learn, and ignore negativity while performing under pressure," he explained. After his early setbacks, he took their advice seriously, which helped him regain his focus.
"You have to listen and ignore. Expectations are high, and sometimes you deliver, sometimes you don't. I anticipated this," he concluded.
