Kejriwal Announces National Town Hall Event

On Monday, Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of AAP, revealed plans for a National Town Hall against E20 fuel, scheduled for August 1, 2026, in New Delhi. He stated that the youth of the nation have compelled an arrogant government to yield, leading to the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan in front of the public. Kejriwal urged the Prime Minister to take this opportunity to clarify the situation regarding E20 fuel.

Kejriwal expressed concern over the difficulties faced by citizens, noting that many vehicles are malfunctioning. He appealed to the Prime Minister to address this issue before it escalates further. To unite everyone on this matter, AAP is organizing the National Town Hall this Saturday, expecting thousands to attend. The event will commence at 12:00 PM, and those residing in Delhi and nearby areas are encouraged to arrive at the Constitution Club by 11:30 AM. For those outside Delhi unable to attend in person, a significant online participation is anticipated.

To join online, individuals can send a WhatsApp message to 8588833212, and a link will be provided by Friday evening. Participants can click the link anytime after 11:30 AM the following day to connect with the event. The aim is to gather experts, affected individuals, and anyone interested in this issue on a single platform, allowing everyone to voice their opinions and strategize on compelling the government to retract the E20 policy.

Kejriwal Addresses Punjab Exam Paper Leak Controversy

Regarding the unrest in Punjab, Kejriwal highlighted that his party has been in power in Delhi for ten years without any exam paper leaks, and similarly, there have been no leaks during their five years in Punjab. He expressed frustration over the allegations, stating that some students managed to bring smart pens into examination centers, attempting to scan papers and send answers outside, which constitutes cheating. However, those 10-12 students were caught on the spot, indicating that no actual paper leak occurred; the accusations are unfounded.

Kejriwal pointed out that when AAP took over in Punjab in 2022, the state ranked 27th in education, but it has now risen to the top position, surpassing Kerala. He accused opponents of trying to tarnish their image with false claims.
