50 Cent's Controversial Claim About Jimmy Henchman Stirs Reactions
Rapper's Instagram Post Sparks Debate
Rapper 50 Cent recently took to Instagram to make a bold assertion regarding imprisoned music executive Jimmy Henchman. In his post, he implied that Henchman had been attacked and stabbed while incarcerated. Henchman, whose real name is James Rosemond, has been serving a life sentence since his arrest in 2011, following his conviction for orchestrating a significant cocaine trafficking operation and his involvement in the 2009 murder of G-Unit associate Lowell “Lodi” Fletcher.
Details of 50 Cent's Allegation
In his Instagram message, 50 Cent stated, “World put Jimmy on a gurney, LOL, 3 months ago in Hazelton, old Rat a** lying now he in Missouri. HE KNOW I KNOW WHATS UP. See it’s hard to be tuff around the tuff.” The post included what seemed to be a picture of Kenneth McGriff, suggesting that Henchman had been assaulted months prior and subsequently transferred to a facility in Missouri.

Many users on social media expressed skepticism regarding 50 Cent's claims, seeking verification. Some reacted with humor, while others voiced disbelief. One user remarked, “This sounds wild, but where is the confirmation?” Another commented, “50 always trolling, hard to know what’s real.” A third user noted, “If 50 said it, there must be something behind it.”
Jimmy Henchman's Response
In response to the allegations, Henchman denied the claims during a phone conversation with Kenneth McGriff, which later gained traction online. He asserted that he was “fine and well,” dismissing the rumors. “Liars will always be liars,” Henchman stated. “People who always listen to rappers, that’s what they’re going to get—they’re going to get a bunch of lies. Especially lying-ass rappers.” He also mentioned that this was not the first time 50 Cent had circulated similar rumors about him.
Confusion surrounding Henchman’s whereabouts has also emerged, as reports indicate he is currently held at USP Pollock in Louisiana, contradicting 50 Cent's assertion of a transfer to Missouri. According to Complex, prison records do not support the claim of a move, and attempts to confirm the situation with prison officials have gone unanswered.
