Celebrity Offspring and Their Career Choices

Akshay Kumar has shared that his 23-year-old son, Aarav, is not drawn to the film industry. Instead, Aarav is pursuing a career in fashion design, earning a modest monthly income of Rs 4,500 while traveling to remote villages to master fabric design.

This choice contrasts sharply with the high earnings of his father, who commands Rs 120 crores per project.

Shabana Azmi reflects on her own family, stating, "From a young age, I knew I wanted to act like my mother, the iconic Shaukat Azmi. In contrast, my brother Baba opted for cinematography, showing no desire to be in front of the camera. This is common in families. Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea chose producing over acting, while Sonam has always been a performer."

Mahesh Bhatt shares insights about his daughters, Alia and Shaheen. He notes that Shaheen had no interest in acting, while Alia was naturally inclined towards it, often seen practicing her expressions in front of mirrors, reminiscent of Rishi Kapoor's habits.

Not all star children follow in their parents' footsteps. Nysa Devgan, daughter of Ajay Devgn and Kajol, holds a degree in International Hospitality and has no desire to act.

Raveena Tandon's daughter, Rasha Thadani, eagerly embraced acting when an opportunity arose, but her brother Ranbir has no interest in the film industry.

Jaya Bachchan emphasizes that it’s a misconception that actor children inevitably become actors. Her son Abhishek chose to act after completing his education, while her daughter Shweta showed no interest in the profession. Jaya believes Shweta is the best actor in their family.

Despite the allure of the film industry, Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli, has opted for a different path, even as producers express keen interest in her.

Jackie Shroff notes that destiny plays a role in career choices, mentioning that while his son Tiger is destined for the spotlight, his daughter Krishna has interests outside of cinema.

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan has received numerous acting offers, including from Karan Johar, but he has chosen to pursue filmmaking instead, preferring to avoid comparisons with his father's illustrious career.

This sentiment resonates with Abhishek Bachchan, who understands the pressures of living up to a famous parent.
