Exciting Performances at WAVES 2025

The WAVES (World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit) 2025 is set to feature an impressive lineup of artists, including the renowned A.R. Rahman, Norwegian DJ Alan Walker, rapper King, and celebrated singer Shreya Ghoshal, all ready to captivate audiences with their performances.


Taking place at the cutting-edge Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) and other notable venues, the WAVES Summit aims to unite influential figures from various sectors—ranging from creators and studios to policymakers and investors—who share a common goal of advancing India's creative economy.


The event's opening ceremony at the NMACC Grand Theatre will showcase a magnificent 50-piece orchestra under the direction of the iconic composer MM Keeravaani, promising an immersive celebration of artistic expression. Composer Shantanu Moitra will also pay homage to Indian folk music with a heartfelt performance featuring renowned artists like Shaan and Papon.


Shankar Mahadevan has curated a remarkable lineup that includes Shivam Mahadevan, Ajay-Atul, A.R. Rahman, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, highlighting his most celebrated compositions across various languages, including Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil.


Prominent figures such as Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Hema Malini, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, and Mithun Chakraborty will participate in a panel discussion titled ‘Legends & Legacies: The Stories That Shaped India’s Soul’, moderated by actor Akshay Kumar.


Aamir Khan will engage in several sessions, including a solo masterclass, a discussion on India’s influence in global cinema, and a session called ‘Studios of the Future’ featuring Ritesh Sidhwani, Dinesh Vijan, and Namit Malhotra. This four-day event is scheduled from May 1 to May 4 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
