Tension Rises Between Sehwag and Kartik

Virender Sehwag and Murali Kartik's Heated Exchange During Cricket Discussion

A recent conversation between former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and Murali Kartik took an unexpected turn, escalating into a heated exchange. The incident occurred following a match between the Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad last Wednesday, where Sehwag jokingly suggested spraying Red Bull in Kartik's face.

During their discussion on Cricbuzz, the two commentators touched upon Shardul Thakur, who was included as an impact player by Mumbai but did not bowl a single over. Both Sehwag and Kartik expressed their surprise at this decision.

Kartik remarked on Shardul's situation, stating, "I also couldn't understand it. Perhaps they brought him in as an option, but maybe they forgot or something else happened. I genuinely don't get it. My expression is just like yours."

Before Kartik could finish, Sehwag asked the host if he could pass him a can of Red Bull to spray on Kartik's face. This comment made Kartik visibly uncomfortable, prompting him to question Sehwag, "Why don't you just say it?" Sehwag explained that Shardul should have bowled since he is a wicket-taking bowler, to which Kartik reminded him that the question was about the decision-making. Sehwag concluded that the answer lies with Hardik Pandya.
