Tom Cruise Expresses Love for India and Dreams of Bollywood Film
Tom Cruise's Heartfelt Message to Indian Fans
Hollywood icon Tom Cruise has a special message for his Indian audience: "Main aap sab se bahut pyaar karta hoon" (I love you all very much). The actor expressed his desire to create a film in the Bollywood style during a recent promotional event.
Cruise's latest release, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, hit Indian theaters on Saturday. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, this film marks the eighth chapter in the Mission: Impossible series. In a promotional video shared by a major media house, Cruise, aged 62, engaged with influencer Avneet Kaur, who prompted him to convey a message to his fans in India.
Reflecting on his past visit to India in 2011 for the promotion of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, which featured Bollywood star Anil Kapoor in a cameo, Cruise shared, "I feel so much love for India. It is an incredible country with wonderful people and rich culture. Every moment from my visit is etched in my memory, from landing to visiting the Taj Mahal and spending time in Mumbai."
He further expressed his admiration for Bollywood films, stating, "I love it when a scene suddenly transitions into a song. Growing up, I enjoyed musicals from various cultures. Bollywood movies are special; the spontaneous singing and dancing are beautiful. I cherish the artistry of the actors involved."
Eager to return to India, Cruise mentioned, "I have many friends there and have met so many wonderful people. Making a Bollywood-style film would be an exciting adventure. I adore the dancing and singing; it would be a blast to participate in that." At the end of the interaction, Kaur requested Cruise to recite a line from The Final Reckoning in Hindi, to which he responded, "Mujh par bharosa karo, ek aakhri baar."
