This is why you should sleep on your left side
Our sleeping patterns affects our lifestyle in a good way and in a bad way too and most importantly our sleeping position because if one sleeps uncomfortably then it can cause problems like back pain but do you know sleeping on your left side has many health benefits.
By sleeping on the left side, the blood flows smoothly to the heart as our heart is on the left side.
Also, not just heart our stomach, pancreas are on the left side and sleeping on left side and due to gravity the food passes through easily and the pancreatic enzymes are also relaxed.
If you want to feel energetic take a power nap of 10 minutes while sleeping on your left side, it also keeps the digestion good after your meal.
However, sleeping on our back always makes us snore but if you sleep on your left side the snoring will stop as when we have our tongue and throat in a neutral position it helps in keeping the airways clear enough to be able to breathe properly.
Always choose a good quality of mattress so that your shoulders and hips do not take much pressure and you can easily relax.
